Mplab ide runs on windows,mac os, Linux
It provide a single integrated environment to develop code for embedded pic microcontrollers

Download mplab ide from microchip site
ex: MPLAB IDE v8.33
Step 2:
Double click .EXE file
Step 3:
Select complete and click next
Select i accept and click next
Click next
Wait until it finished
Step 4:
Click yes
Select i accept and Click next
Click next
Click finish button
Again click finish
MPLAB IDE installation completed successfully
